Lincoln Electric to host July 16 seminar on laser welding

Lincoln Electric's Automation Division will hold a Laser Welding and Cutting seminar on July 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at its Cleveland facility. Presenters will explain how lasers can help improve productivity, eliminate secondary processes, and add flexibility.

A laser hot-wire cladding demonstration will show how the process saves material in operation because of a decrease in the dilution. Other demonstrations at the seminar include autogenous welding and hybrid welding.
