Flora, Ind.-based Quality Die Set Corp. has added about $200,000 in new equipment to its stamping production line. The expansion has resulted in nine new jobs, and the company plans to add another six to its employees this year, doubling its workforce size from a year ago.
The growth is largely a result of the company's filling additional orders for Keats Mfg. Co., Wheeling, Ill., a producer of small metal stampings, custom wire forms, and assemblies. Keats is partnering with Quality Die Set to supply three new punch presses, two riveting machines, and a custom machine at the Flora plant.
Quality Die Set Corp. is a privately held company that provides custom metal fabricating, machining, tooling, stamping, and machine rebuilding.
