September 20, 2013

Hurco Companies Inc., an Indianapolis company that designs and manufactures computerized metal cutting machines, and Vincennes University, Indiana's first college, have formed a partnership to advance manufacturing education in Indiana.

Students pursuing a degree in precision machining technology from the VU College of Technology will have access to 15 Hurco CNC machine tools. The program is one of the few in the U.S. to offer specialized training in manual machining, CNC machining, metal stamping die building, and plastic injection mold building.
