Asco expands manufacturing lines in Oklahoma plant

Zaventem, Belgium-based Asco, a manufacturer of high lift mechanism devices, complex mechanical assemblies, and major functional components for the aerospace industry, is expanding its two-year-old Asco Aerospace USA plant in Stillwater, Okla.

The 715,000-sq.-ft. facility manufactures wing and fuselage components of the 737, 777, and 787 Boeing airplanes. With steel and aluminum lines operational, the company now is working on its titanium line. It has 110 employees and is still hiring engineers, CNC machinists and operators, treatment operators, quality specialists, polishers, and painters.

The company marks its 60th global anniversary in 2014.
