Cimcool metalworking fluid approved for use at Boeing

Cimcool Fluid Technology has announced that CIMTECH® 320Z with InSol™ Technology, a synthetic metalworking fluid, has been approved under Boeing BAC5008 RevU.

The fluid is designed for heavy-duty machining of nonferrous and ferrous metals, including 6000 and 7000 series aluminum, stainless steels, titanium, and other exotic alloys, as well as grinding. It helps extend sump life and cleanliness by rejecting tramp oil and limiting residues and oily mist, says the company.

The low-foaming fluid is transparent to offer part visibility to the operator. It is mild to the skin with a near-neutral pH and contains no DCHA.
