Fidia moves North American operations to new headquarters facility in Michigan

Fidia S.p.A., based in Turin, Italy, has moved its North American operations from Troy, Mich., to a new 14,000-sq.-ft. headquarters facility in Rochester Hills, Mich. Fidia designs and builds NCs and high-speed milling machine systems for the production of complex-shaped parts for the automotive, aerospace, and energy markets.

The new, expanded facility includes an 8,000-sq.-ft. warehouse, a controls service and retrofit area, as well as a demonstration area with a number of high-speed milling machines and controls on display. A 6,000-sq.-ft. office area has allowed the company to expand its engineering and service support and add two new sales engineers.
