Konecranes Machine Tool Service adds two staff members

Konecranes Machine Tool Service, Springfield, Ohio, a provider of machine tool maintenance, rebuilding, retrofitting, and repair services, has hired Jim Foust and Tim Ellis. Together, the new staff members have more than 70 years of direct experience with Giddings & Lewis machine tools.

Foust has more than 35 years of experience. He previously worked at VMC Technologies Inc., where he served as product manager for large CNC machine tool applications. He also served as vice president – sales at J. Lee Hackett Co., Farmington, Mich. During his entire 35-year tenure in the machine tool business, he has represented the Giddings & Lewis machine tool organization and its products.

Ellis, hired as a technical sales consultant, has more than 45 years of experience in the machine tool industry, and 38 of those years were with Giddings & Lewis. He previously worked with Fives Giddings & Lewis, where he served as service manager and manager of remanufacturing sales for many years. He also served as executive project manager/resident field engineer in the Boston area for Giddings & Lewis Machine Tool Co. for more than 12 years.
