Methods Machine Tools to hold open house

Methods Machine Tools Inc., a supplier of precision machine tools, automation, and accessories, will hold an open house May 6 and 7, 2015, to mark the 10th anniversary of the opening of its Detroit Technology Center in Wixom, Mich. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

On display will be Yasda vertical machining centers (VMCs), Nakamura-Tome single- and twin-turret turning centers, FANUC VMCs and wire EDM, Kiwa horizontal machining centers, Feeler VMCs and horizontal turning center, VisionGauge digital optical comparators, a Zeiss CMM, and an Exeron EDM die sinking machine.

At 10:00 a.m. on both days, Mark Foster, president of Applied Geometrics Inc., will present a seminar titled "GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in the Manufacturing World Today." An additional seminar each day at 2:00 p.m. will highlight the FANUC Dual Check Safety software function, along with material handling systems. Seating is limited and registration is required.
