Nautic Partners acquires Aerostar Aerospace

Private equity firm Nautic Partners LLC, Providence, R.I., has acquired Aerostar Aerospace Mfg. LLC. Based in Phoenix, Ariz., Aerostar manufactures complex, close-tolerance machined parts for commercial aircraft from such materials as titanium, INCONEL® alloy, and other hard-metal alloys.

Aerostar will move to a new 55,000-sq.-ft. facility that is a quarter mile from its current campus and will invest in new equipment to nearly double production capacity over the coming years.
