PCX Aerostructures adds machining capability

PCX Aerostructures LLC has announced the addition of a WFL M65 Millturn machining center at its Newington, Conn., headquarters.

The machine serves as a lathe, 5-axis machining center, 3-D CMM, gear shaper, and deep hole drilling machine. It allows for complete machining of complex parts with turning diameters up to 32.68 in. and machining lengths extending to 177.17 in.

The company supplies flight-critical and structural assemblies for rotorcraft and fixed-wing aerospace platforms. It serves the defense, commercial, and power-generation markets through facilities in Connecticut, New York, and Texas.
