Wrobel Eng. completes 2014 capital improvements

Wrobel Eng., a provider of precision CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication services in Avon, Mass., has completed its 2014 capital improvement plan targeting new technologies, equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and workforce initiatives.

The company has added onboard inspection to three CNC milling centers and CAD software updates to eight workstations. It also has installed three new milling centers and constructed a self-contained area for parts inspection. Four new HVAC units provide humidity control and improved worker environment.

In addition, the company has established relationships with two regional technical vocational high schools with funding for seasonal employment positions and college-level continuing education internships.
