Main Steel Polishing sells Arlington, Texas, facility

Main Steel Polishing Co. Inc., Tinton Falls, N.J., has sold its Arlington, Texas, facility to TSA Processing of Houston. TSA, a nonferrous metals toll processor, approached Main Steel with an offer to acquire the Arlington facility to expand TSA's market footprint into the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The acquisition included two cut-to-length lines, a sheet polisher, and three buffing lines. Further, the multiple cranes, rail siding, and room for further expansion fit with TSA's desire to add trucking services, Gauer® bar work, and shearing to the Arlington capabilities.

Main Steel will continue to support its national services customers and protective film accounts through its seven other plant locations nationwide and its corporate offices in New Jersey.
