Mate Precision Tooling appoints vice president of business development

Mate Precision Tooling, Anoka, Minn., a manufacturer of CNC punch press tooling, announces the appointment of Frank Baeumler to the position of vice president of business development. He is responsible for identifying complementary business segments for the company to provide diversification and growth into new product families, customer groups, and markets.

A native of Germany, Baeumler most recently was vice president of European operations and managing director of Mate Precision Tooling GmbH. During his six years in these positions, he expanded and moved the operations into new facilities in Oberursel, Germany. Before that he served as Mate’s international marketing manager for 11 years.

Baeumler holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of Wisconsin and a master's degree in international relations from the University of Wyoming.
