Bluff Mfg. buys B&L Structures

Bluff Mfg. Inc., a provider of material handling and warehouse safety equipment in Fort Worth, Texas, has acquired B&L Structures Inc., a Dallas-based steel manufacturer.

The B&L Structures brand will be retained, and production of its products, previously outsourced, will be moved to Bluff's Fort Worth headquarters. The products will continue to be available through B&L's national network of distributors, many of which also work with Bluff Mfg.

Bluff plans to create several new positions as a result of the purchase, including engineers, draftsman, dedicated support services representatives, and several certified welders. The acquisition also adds several new products to Bluff's portfolio, including mezzanines, multilevel carton flow systems, multilevel shelving units, multilevel carousel picking systems, freestanding conveyor support structures, stairways, service and maintenance platforms, heavy-duty pallets and cantilever racks, work platforms, mobile units, and vertical reciprocating conveyor systems.
