KMC Global acquires CDM Systems

KMC Global, Kalamazoo, Mich., the parent company of Prab Inc., has acquired CDM Systems Inc., a manufacturer of custom en-masse conveyors and marine leg ship unloaders in Elk River, Minn. The conveyors, built for service in mining, potash, cement, co-generation boiler feed, and other heavy industrial applications, are made of an abrasive-resistant steel frame and a high-alloy, drop-forged, hardened-chain assembly.

KMC Global is the parent company to a group of industrial manufacturing companies that conduct business worldwide. Each company within the group operates under its own brand and maintains its own structure.
