Nissan Forklift establishes e-commerce portal

Nissan Forklift Corp. has launched NFCdirect.com, an online portal for its dealers and other partners. The system allows users to make complete orders from their own spreadsheets by uploading an Excel® file instead of individually ordering each item needed. It also offers one-click reordering. The real-time inventory status helps reduce back-ordering.

Features of the new system include an all-in-one search tool, activity overviews, order status and history summary, price quote histories, embedded parts catalog, direct upload of quotes and orders from the dealership’s business system, and part recommendations.

NFCdirect.com replaces NicWeb and NicSmart, the former online catalogs and parts-ordering systems.
