Southworth Intl. Group acquires Marco Group AB

Falmouth, Maine-based Southworth Intl. Group, a provider of ergonomic material handling equipment, announced the acquisition of Marco Group AB, a European manufacturer of similar lifting and positioning technologies in Ängelholm, Sweden.

The acquisition accelerates Southworth’s presence in both the European and Asian markets, and it supplements the company’s existing product supply in China for both domestic and international trade.
