UniCarriers Americas expands Mid-Atlantic sales team

UniCarriers Americas Corp. has hired Robert Smith as regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. His responsibilities include overseeing, motivating, and assisting dealers as they promote the company’s material handling products in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C.

Smith has more than 12 years of forklift and aftermarket regional sales experience. He previously worked as a marketing supervisor and dealer development manager for Clark Material Handling Co. and a marketing and sales associate, regional manager, and sales planning manager for Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America. Smith has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Kentucky.
