Vacuworx receives Oklahoma’s Governor's Award for exporting

Tulsa, Okla.-based Vacuworx, a manufacturer and distributor of vacuum-lifting technology and material handling equipment, has received the 2014 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting.

The award was created to recognize the achievements of small to medium-sized companies that have successfully entered the worldwide marketplace. Vacuworx was nominated based on its commitment to investing in logistical, environmental, and cultural resources and meeting worldwide demand for material handling systems.

The company’s lifting systems can handle nearly any diameter of steel, plastic, cast-iron, or concrete pipe, as well as steel plate, precast slabs, and concrete road barriers. Lift capacities are 6,600 to 44,000 lbs.
