Yale Materials Handling opens Experience Center in North Carolina

Yale Materials Handling Corp. has announced the grand opening of its Experience Center in Charlotte, N.C. The facility is designed to help customers, dealers, and employees to learn more about the company’s history, industry leadership, and products while experiencing Yale® lift trucks in action.

The facility includes an applications showcase area representing a warehouse. Visitors see efficient operations that are achieved by matching the right truck to the application, calculating appropriate aisle widths, maximizing floor space with advanced storage techniques, and calculating the cost per square foot for the right system.

Also located within the facility is the Heritage Gallery, a small museum that allows visitors to explore the history of the Yale brand, its global reach, and dealer network. Holograms of the company’s senior leaders provide overviews of the company. In the facility’s multiple training rooms, employees, dealers, and customers have access to numerous learning tools and extensive lift truck and industry knowledge.
