AK Steel announces November electrical, stainless surcharges

AK Steel has advised its customers that a $190 per ton surcharge will be added to invoices for electrical steel products shipped in November 2006. November 2006 surcharges for the stainless steel products that the company produces can be found on the its Web site
The surcharges are based on reported prices for raw materials and energy used to manufacture the products, with the September 2006 purchase cost used to determine the November 2006 surcharges.
