Mid-West Materials completes expansion with massive stretch leveling system

In a ceremony marking the final phase of a multiyear, multimillion-dollar expansion, Mid-West Materials Inc. unveiled North America's largest Leveltek stretch leveling system. This addition to the company's 240,000-sq.-ft. facility, which includes cut-to-length lines, levelers, slitters, and shears, provides flat, memory-free steel up to 0.75 in. thick and 100 in. wide, from mild to ultra-high-strength.

Mid-West Materials, Perry, Ohio, is a steel service center distributing hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and coated steel products. The warehousing and production center also includes a testing laboratory, direct rail access, and a dedicated fleet of trucks.
