Heidtman Steel completes pickling line upgrade

Heidtman Steel, a processor of flat-rolled carbon steel, has installed a Bradbury leveler in its Cleveland pickling line.
While the overall capacity of the pickling line is broader, the hydraulic leveler accommodates thicknesses from 0.075 to 0.250 in. up to 65 KSI and widths from 24 to 72 in. The 5-high configuration helps enhance surface quality, the company says.
