Industrial Tube & Steel opens new facility

November 28, 2012

Industrial Tube & Steel Corp., Kent, Ohio, has built a larger facility to hold more steel tubing inventory and allow additional custom cutting and faster loading capabilities.

The new plant doubles the amount of warehouse and office space the company had at its previous facility. High ceilings accommodate a side loading rack system with improved storage and space utilization, creating an efficient flow of materials for faster distribution, according to the company.

The larger facility also created room for a 28-in. Hyd-Mech saw, as well as six loading docks and two drive-through bays.
