Marcegaglia USA, Phillips Metals partner to reach automotive market

Marcegaglia USA recently entered into a sales representation agreement with Phillips Metals Inc., Plainfield, Ill., to market and sell stainless and related nonferrous tubing and pipe to North American automotive customers. This exclusive sales arrangement provides Marcegaglia growth opportunity in the automotive segment.

Marcegaglia operates a 300,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Munhall, Pa., producing galvanized and stainless steel tubing and pipe products in coils and straight lengths with ODs from 0.250 to 12.75 in., as well as ornamental stainless shapes.
