Accurate Perforating names director of operational excellence

Accurate Perforating, a manufacturer of custom and standard perforated metals in Chicago, has added Chris Abrey as the new director of operational excellence. He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive, aerospace, food manufacturing, and printing industries in roles including maintenance, manufacturing engineering, program management, and consulting. Abrey has 20 years of experience in lean manufacturing, including the last 15 as a dedicated lean practitioner.

Abrey's new role is to establish the infrastructure to sustain lean and continuous improvement activities. He works with all levels of the company to manage the change through training, education, and communication and initiate lean activities throughout the organization.
