Algonquin Industries names vice president of sales

Algonquin Industries, Guilford, Conn., a manufacturer of rectangular and round nonferrous magnet wire, flat wire, strip, and rivet wire products, has promoted William Gorman to vice president of sales. Gorman has a role in supporting the company's sales and marketing efforts, serving producers of transformers, load centers, meters, switches, fasteners, stampings, and connectors. He joined the company in 1992.

A division of Indiana-based Rea Magnet Wire Co. Inc., Algonquin comprises three plants in Connecticut, Virginia, and Arkansas. Rea produces magnet wire.
