ALSCO Metals Corp. sold to Aleris Intl.
Sun Capital Partners Inc., a private investment firm, today announced that one of its affiliated portfolio companies, ALSCO Metals Corp., has been sold for $150 million in cash to Aleris International Inc., a North American manufacturer of common alloy sheet and specification alloys and an aluminum recycler.
ALSCO Metals Corp. supplies residential aluminum products in North America. It was acquired by an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners Inc. in May 2003.
