AP&C installs fourth and fifth atomization reactors

AP&C, the Montreal-based metal powder manufacturing subsidiary of Arcam AB, is building its fourth and fifth reactors, adding significant capacity to its titanium and nickel superalloy powder manufacturing operation.

AP&C uses proprietary technology for plasma atomization. The new technology allows AP&C to supply aerospace and medical part manufacturers with titanium powders for additive manufacturing.
