ASTM Intl. announces Boedecker Award winner
Daniel Edelman, UCS development metallurgist at Nucor Corp., Crawfordsville, Ind., has received the Kenneth J. Boedecker Jr. Distinguished Service Award for his exemplary contributions to ASTM Intl. Committee A05 on metallic-coated iron and steel products.
A graduate of Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Mich., where he received a bachelor's degree in metallurgy, Edelman joined Nucor in 1999 and accepted his current role in 2008. He specializes in the development of sheet steel products.
