AZZ Galvanizing wins Most Distinguished designation from AGA

AZZ Galvanizing Services, Fort Worth, Texas, has won Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing Awards in five categories from the American Galvanizers Association (AGA).

The company’s Jackson, Miss., location was recognized as Most Distinguished for its work at the Lazy Magnolia Brewery in Kiln, Miss.; it also won the Duplex Systems Award for work on the Point Cadet pavilion in Biloxi, Miss.

The Denver location won the Original Equipment Manufacturing Excellence Award for the use of hot-dip galvanized steel throughout the Cherry Creek Systems facility in Denver. The Peoria, Ill., plant won the Food & Agriculture Award for galvanizing more than 150,000 lbs. of steel to construct the Peotone Elevator in Peotone, Ill. The Goodyear, Ariz., facility won the Artistic Award for its work on the "Praying Mantis" sculpture displayed in Black Rock Desert, Nev., and created for the Burning Man Festival.
