Braner/Loopco to build CTL line for Reliance MetalCenter
Braner/Loopco, Schiller Park, Ill., has received an order to build a 72-in.-wide stainless steel and aluminum-alloy cut-to-length line for installation in Reliance MetalCenter's Santa Fe Springs, Calif., facility.
The CTL line will feature a cassette leveler with automatic closed-loop flatness control; an AC servo feed; and a control system that, via computer order entry, automatically sets up the CTL line to fill individual orders.
The leveler will be fitted with two cassettes sized to level material from 0.040 to 0.250 in. The leveling cassettes will be powered by Braner/Loopco's multi-AC-vector Torque-Master drive.
