Chicago Tube & Iron announces personnel changes

Romeoville, Ill.-based steel service center Chicago Tube & Iron has announced a number of personnel changes effective Jan. 1, 2016.

The company has promoted Bill Zielinski to executive vice president/COO. He has been with the company for 24 years in roles of increasing responsibility. In this new role, he is responsible for the performance of all distribution divisions.

Curt Roe is transitioning to the role of senior vice president, targeting a May 2016 retirement. In this role, he assists the president/CEO with key management transitions in a number of the company’s divisions.

Mike DiNanno continues as CFO and adds responsibilities over the information technology department. He has been with the company nearly 12 years.

The company has promoted Randy Holndoner to the position of corporate manager of IT. He has been with the company 14 years.

Sean Vietti has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Romeoville division. He is a 10-year veteran of the company and has served as account representative, account manager, and sales manager.

Rod Van Rite has been promoted to assistant general manager of the Fond du Lac, Wis., division. He has been with the company for five years as sales manager of Fond du Lac.
