ET Seminar Committee invites nominations for Maurice H. Roberts Award

The ET Seminar Committee, through the Wauconda, Ill.-based ET Foundation and the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC), currently is inviting nominations for the Maurice H. Roberts Award of Excellence, the highest honor bestowed by the committee. The namesake of this honor and the award’s first recipient, Maurice Roberts was a pioneer in the aluminum extrusion industry and one of the founders of the International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminars - - also known as the ET Seminars.

The award is given to a professional whose accomplishments and contributions to the aluminum extrusion industry have been deemed exceptional. Nominees for the award should have expertise in aluminum extrusion and a demonstrated track record of sharing that expertise freely; be well-known, inspiring followers, and personally involved in the industry; and be making a significant positive impact on the worldwide aluminum extrusion industry.

The ET Seminar Committee will accept nominations through Feb. 15, 2016. Those interested in nominating a prospective candidate can do so by downloading the nomination form from www.etfoundation.org or www.et16.org.
