Ferrous CAL to establish steel coil facility in Michigan

Ferrous CAL Co., a provider of toll processing services for hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel, will establish a new facility in Gibraltar, Mich., generating a capital investment of $50.2 million and creating 100 jobs.

Startup of the process line, which will produce ultrahigh-strength steels, is expected in late 2016. The company, a newly formed affiliate of Ferragon Corp., also has operations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Mississippi.
