Greer Steel announces key management appointments

Greer Steel, a cold-rolled strip steel producer, has appointed Todd Daenzer as vice president, quality and technology; Don Fleeher as vice president, purchasing; and Paul Eagle as vice president, service center operations.

Daenzer has been with the company for nine years in various positions, including annealing area manager, pickle building manager, general foreman, plant metallurgist, and, most recently, director of technical services. In his new position, he is responsible for managing the quality group, metallurgical lab, technical services, and product development. He is a graduate of Michigan Technological University.

Fleeher has 34 years' experience in the steel industry, including 20 years in aerospace metals and high-temperature alloys, and 14 years in carbon steel. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University.

Eagle has 27 years' experience in the steel industry, including past experience with Greer, and has extensive experience in the cold-rolled strip market. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
