Jones Metal certified as Women’s Business Enterprise

Mankato, Minn.-based Jones Metal Products Inc. has announced its certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Development Center.

To gain the certification, the company went through a process of site inspection and interviews to prove it is owned, operated, and controlled at least 51 percent by women. The designation helps companies gain access to contracts with government agencies and contractors that work for the government.

The company serves the oil, agriculture, and heavy construction sectors and recently added transportation, including rail.
