Kloeckner Metals expands South Carolina plant

Kloeckner Metals Corp., a producer and independent distributor of steel and metal products based in Roswell, Ga., has expanded its plant in Greenville, S.C., with the installation of a 50,000-sq.-ft. bay with 43-ton cranes and a new automated slitting line for processing AHSS and aluminum.

The $11 million expansion is expected to create 19 jobs by early 2018.

The company will host an open house at the Greenville plant on Oct. 16 at 2 p.m.
