Marmon/Keystone promotes president, vice president

Marmon/Keystone, a wholesale distributor of tubular products in Butler, Pa., has announced the promotion of two executives.

J.T. "Tim" Spatafore, former executive vice president of branch operations, has been named president of Marmon/Keystone LLC. He joined the company in 1973 and has served as a product manager, sales manager, district manager, vice president of purchasing and inventory management, and group vice president.

Spatafore graduated from the Institute of Computer Management in Baltimore and then studied finance at LaRoche College. He attended the MSCI Management Development Institute at Texas A&M University and serves as the chair of MSCI’s Tubular Products Council.

Alan Wilkinson, former regional vice president of Marmon/Keystone LLC, has been promoted to vice president of Marmon Distribution Services LLC, responsible for Bushwick Metals LLC and Future Metals LLC. He has been with the company since 1978, serving in positions including warehouse person, clerk, inside and outside sales, operations manager, branch manager, and regional manager.

Wilkinson obtained a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Mercer University and has completed MSCI's Strategic Metals Management program. He also serves on the MSCI board of directors.
