Mill Steel Co. opens steel service center in Indiana

Mill Steel Co., a flat-rolled steel service center company based in Grand Rapids, Mich., has opened a 105,000-sq.-ft. plant in Jeffersonville, Ind. The company is planning an immediate expansion to add 120,000 sq. ft. The plant will house two slitting lines and a cut-to-length line.

The facility will be operational starting in June 2014. It is expected to create 43 full-time positions.
