Mill Steel to consolidate Steel Structural Products Louisville with Indiana service center

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based flat-rolled carbon steel distributor Mill Steel Co. has announced it will consolidate its Steel Structural Products Louisville (Ky.) steel framing manufacturing operations and related corporate office with its Ports of Indiana, Jeffersonville service center. Completion of the move is expected by the end of March 2016.

According to the company, the move will enhance the efficiencies associated with Steel Structural Products manufacturing of steel framing and accessories and enable it to receive substantial freight cost savings and better truck availability. The move also brings Steel Structural Products operating and commercial personnel closer together with Mill Steel's team.
