NanoSteel adds vice president for sales and marketing

The NanoSteel® Co., Providence, R.I., a provider of nanostructured steel alloy surface technologies for industrial applications, has added Michael Quinlan as vice president for sales and marketing. Quinlan leads all sales and marketing activities for the company's portfolio of Super Hard Steel® coating, overlay, and wear plate products.

Quinlan has more than 25 years of experience in nuclear, hydro, and fossil power generation in functions such as sales management, operations, regulatory compliance, project management, and manufacturing. Most recently he served as director of project proposals for Babcock Power Services. Before that he developed and managed Alstom Power's surface technology division. Quinlan completed his focused business management program at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
