North Shore Steel expands to include plate rolling and press braking capabilities
Houston-based steel service center North Shore Steel has acquired the equipment assets of Houston Blow Pipe, a plate processing business also located in Houston.
The acquisition includes four press brakes, one of which is a 3,000-ton press brake with a 27.5-ft. bed, as well as several plate rolling machines, welding equipment, and forklifts.
The company’s steel processing capabilities include rolling up to 10 in. thick, plasma and oxyfuel burning, press forming, CNC profiling, machining, code welding, and NDT.
North Shore Steel offers carbon, stainless, aluminum, and galvanized products, including structural steel, pipe, fittings, flanges, and plate.
