RathGibson hires CFO

RathGibson, a manufacturer of welded, welded and drawn, and seamless stainless steel, nickel, and titanium tubing in Lincolnshire, Ill., has appointed Jon Smith as CFO. In his 30-year career, he has worked as senior director of finance at Magna Powertrain, CFO at Teksid Aluminum, and held senior positions at TRW and Textron.

In his new position, Smith provides enterprisewide leadership across the functional areas of IT, finance, accounting, and tax while maintaining the existing relationships with the respective business unit controllers.

RathGibson manufactures highly engineered stainless steel, nickel, and titanium tubing for such industries as chemical, petrochemical, power generation, energy - oil and gas, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical, biotechnology, and general commercial.
