RathGibson launches new international offices

RathGibson, Lincolnshire, Ill., a manufacturer of welded, welded and drawn, and seamless stainless steel, nickel, and titanium tubing, has launched three new international offices. To provide local real-time support for its channel partners and customers, the company has opened offices in Mumbai, India; Singapore; and Vienna, Austria. The Mumbai office provides the company with a presence in India's financial capital; the Singapore office helps facilitate sales to Southeast Asia; and the Austria office supplies additional support to Europe.

RathGibson also added six members to its staff. To its Greater China team, the company added Louisa Zhang as national sales manager for key accounts, Irene Wang as technical support manager, and Sunny Sun as national sales manager for the chemical market. Zhang is the liaison for all fabricators in the Chinese marketplace. Wang manages local customer support and spearheads the regional technical training programs for customers and channel partners. All are based in the Shanghai office.

As manager of business development, India, Michael Edinburgh serves in the Mumbai office and works to meet the needs of the company's customers in India. Gilbert Boon, ASEAN regional business manager based in Singapore, is responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as providing leadership to develop and strengthen the company's ventures in Southeast Asia. Steve Soroko, who serves as director, business development, for Europe, manages the European business from Vienna. Soroko monitors current markets and designs and implements the company's strategic business enterprises in western and eastern Europe.

Along with the expansion of personnel and offices, RathGibson recently was awarded Perfect Performance status from the Marmon/Keystone Corp.'s Supplier Quality System (SQS), marking the third time that the company has received the award.
