Reliance Steel & Aluminum acquires Northern Illinois Steel Supply

Metal service center Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, has acquired all of the capital stock of Northern Illinois Steel Supply Co., a value-added distributor and fabricator of steel and nonferrous metal products, primarily structural steel components and parts, located in Channahon, Ill.

NIS now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Steel. Current management remains in place.
