Reliance Steel & Aluminum announces new directors

Metals service center Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, has expanded its board of directors from nine to 11 members, appointing Karen W. Colonias and Douglas W. Stotlar to serve as independent directors. Both also were appointed to the board’s Audit Committee and Compensation Committee.

Colonias is president/CEO of Simpson Mfg. Co. Inc. and serves on its board of directors. Stotlar is a director of the Detroit Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
