Ryerson announces executive staff changes

Ryerson Holding Corp., a metals processor and distributor based in Chicago, has promoted Edward J. Lehner, executive vice president and CFO since 2012, to the position of president/CEO. He succeeds Michael C. Arnold, who retired at the end of May. Erich S. Schnaufer has been named as interim CFO.

Lehner previously served as CFO and chief administrative officer of PSC Metals Inc. He also was a founder, executive vice president, and CFO of SeverCorr LLC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati.

Schnaufer joined Ryerson in 2005 and was promoted in 2007 to controller and chief accounting office. Before joining the company, he held senior financial and accounting management roles at several public companies, including Alternative Resources Corp. and Midway Games. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
