SAF-West opens anodizing line, adds capacity

With the start-up of its batch anodizing line, SAF-West, Redding, Calif., now has the same capabilities as the SAF plant in Atlanta.

The Redding plant operations now include distribution of aluminum extrusions and sheet, fabrication, and anodizing for customers up and down the West Coast, with next-day delivery throughout California. The company reports it can custom-anodize and ship sheet and extrusions for customers in 24 hours or less.

The 75,000-sq.-ft. facility currently operates with 15 employees and expects to add 20 to 25 more this year.
