SSAB accepting applications for 2015 Swedish Steel Prize

The 17th annual Swedish Steel Prize, presented by SSAB, will be awarded in November to recognize the most creative, innovative products that use high-strength steel. The application deadline for the 2015 prize is Aug. 15.

The theme for this year’s competition is “Improve to attract the future.”

“With this theme, we want to emphasize the importance of the continuous product development needed to build a more sustainable world,” said Gregoire Parenty, chairman of the Swedish Steel Prize jury and head of market development at SSAB.
